David Sanders Writes To Gov Beebe
Wednesday, November 12, 2008
KARN Newsradio guest host David Sanders writes a column for the Arkansas News Bureau, and today he let's Gov Mike Beebe have it on a statement he gave on ARN's "Ask The Governor" on saying his stance on the lottery was 'dependent on what side of the bed you wake up on.' Sanders didn't like the can of worms statements like that opened up, and ... well just read the full column piece here.
Thanks to tsudo for sending me the 'tweet' on the column since I hadn't had the chance to read it yet. And of course, if you use Twitter you can get frequent updates from me and the website (which is also me).

Relaunching Some Online & Text Functions
Tuesday, November 11, 2008
We've been working hard to revamp and rework some of the online capabilities that we had to abruptly end a few weeks back. We've been trying to re-plot some of our efforts to make sure they were being offered as a service to our growing online and mobile users, and are hopping that the slow launches will helps re-acclimate users, or will encourage a few people who were looking past using the services to try them out.
We're also working on a survey of your responsiveness to all of our interactive/online/mobile features, and are looking for your input on what is working, what is not, and what we really need to invest in. Look for that in a few days, but in the meantime, tell us what you thing about what we've brought back so far...

CO2 What cost in jobs?
Thursday, November 6, 2008
Here's great information concerning the future legislation concerning CO2. Remeber President elect Obama is proposing a major frontal attack on coal and natural gas. What would the results of such legislation be and would it be worth the price in jobs?

Nuclear Power
|
One of the main reasons Nuclear Power hasn't really caught on in this country is because people fear it. They think of Three Miles Island and of course Hollywood's fable The China Syndrome. If you are someone who makes your decisions on facts I suggest this paper, as it answers all the pertinent questions.
