My brother sent this to me. As many of you know who listen to my show, all the males and now some of the females of our family have served in the Armed Forces. Our family has been in WW2, Korea, Viet-nam, Granada, Desert Storm and Iraq. Army, Air Force and Navy. Here is something for you who are patriotic. Sorry to say that for many people this kind of music has fallen out of style.

| Memorial Day |
|
To all those who have served and to those who paid the ultimate price, I salute you on Memorial Day. To all the families who sacrifice because a loved one is in the service to their country, to the families who's wife's, husband's, children, mother's, father's and other family member's who lost a loved one for the freedom of our country. I say thank you. I offer this music video from Trace Adkins as my heart felt thanks to y'all.
Arlington
Have a great Memorial Day BUT remember it was bought with a high price...the blood of many men and women.

| Representation only with Taxation |

My guest today Al Parinello made the argument that people who don't pay taxes shouldn't vote. If we moved to what the Founder's believed, it was simple. If you didn't owe property or pay taxes you couldn't vote. This was to keep those who didn't add to America from taking advantage of America. I believe as does Al that we need to move back to this type of core belief. You shouldn't be allowed to live off the sweat of others (take a government check except for Social Security or pensions etc.), and then be able to vote for someone that will give you more of what others have worked hard to secure for themselves. Go here to learn more.
Also today, should Michelle Obama be off limits to political attacks? My thoughts are simple. First, if you are going to be the First Lady you are a public figure and deserve to be vetted. Second and the point which is the most important. If like Michelle Obama you go on the campaign trail and give speeches for your husbands campaign it is only fair that the opposition can challenge and use what you say against you. Senator Obama is wrong in saying his wife is off limits. Here's what Senator Obama had to say to Robin Roberts of Good Morning America.
Great show lined up for you Wednesday. We start as usual at 2:35pm.

| Here is the story I referenced today from USA Today. After checking out these figures can someone explain to me HOW is the federal government going to offer Universal health care without bankrupting us all? I can't even begin to imagine our tax bills if the Dems get control of the White House, the House and the Senate. Guess I just have KARN mail them my check. |
